Commercial Co-Op Re-Enrollment -- For Members with Contracts Ending in 2011
Member businesses that have contracts ending in 2011 are invited to participate in a re-enrollment program being offered by the Chamber of Commerce. This is especially important since market prices are at record lows and our goal is to obtain lower electricity supply prices for the next 36 months.
Member businesses with contracts ending by 2011 who do not re-enroll will return to the utility company, BGE, PEPCO, DELMARVA, or Allegheny Power and will be on the utilities Standard Offer Service rates on the current contract end meter read dates. Default rates on average are 15% higher than market rates.
To renew, you MUST do the following:
- Include your current electricity supply company and your contract end date in the online application.
- After you complete the online application you must fax us your current supply contract specifying your contract end date, your full electricity bill and/or documentation from your supplier specifying your contract end date of your current contract.
- Fax to Jennie Anderson at 410-747-4752. You can also scan and email this documentation to
jennie@cqiassociates.com.
Providing above documentation will ensure smooth transitioning of your electricity supply contracts and protect you from penalties and fees.
Please email Jennie Anderson at Jennie@cqiassociates.com if you have any questions or concerns with this process.
It is critical that you provide all the information requested above if you are in a current electricity or natural gas commercial supply service contract. You could be subject to penalties and fees by your current or future third party electricity or natural gas supplier if you were to enroll into electricity or natural gas contract before your contract ends with your current third party supplier. CQI Associates, LLC and/or the Chamber of Commerce are not liable for any fees or penalties incurred by not providing accurate information requested above.
