Enrollment for the Commercial Energy Co-op
New Enrollments:
Chamber member
businesses who have
not previously
joined the
Commercial Co-op are
invited to reduce their
energy costs and stabilize their energy expenses.
The application fee is $150, which covers all of your electricity and natural gas accounts for all locations.
To enroll in the Chamber of Commerce Commercial Energy Purchasing Co-op you must have the following items:
- A completed and signed Letter of Authorization. This form can be requested by e-mailing joe@cqiassociates.com.
- A full, recent copy of the utility bill for each account you are enrolling
- A copy of your previous contract (if applicable)
Please fax these documents to 410-747-4752, attn: Joe Tabeling. Then, you must also mail a hard copy of the same documents and a check for $150 made out to Howard County Chamber of Commerce to:

Renewal Enrollments:
Member businesses
that have contracts
ending in 2012 are
invited to
participate in a
re-enrollment
program being
offered by the
Chamber of Commerce.
This is especially
important since
market prices are at
record lows and our
goal is to obtain
lower electricity
supply prices for
the next 24-36 months.
Member businesses
with contracts
ending by 2012 who
do not re-enroll
will return to the
utility company,
BGE, PEPCO,
Delmarva Power, or
Allegheny Power/Potomac Edison and
will be on the
utilities Standard
Offer Service rates
on the current
contract end meter
read dates. Default
rates on average are
15 percent higher than
market rates.

instructions.
Important Information for New and Renewing Members:
It is critical
that you provide all
the information
requested above if
you are in a current
electricity or
natural gas
commercial supply
service contract.
You could be subject
to penalties and
fees by your current
or future third
party electricity or
natural gas supplier
if you were to
enroll into
electricity or
natural gas contract
before your contract
ends with your
current third party
supplier. CQI
Associates, LLC
and/or the Chamber
of Commerce are not
liable for any fees
or penalties
incurred by not
providing accurate
information
requested above.
Participation in the
Cooperative REQUIRES
continuous
membership in the
Chamber of Commerce
during the full term
of the Agreement. If
your membership is
not current with the
Chamber, you must
bring your account
current to
participate in this
proposed contract
extension.
Submission of the
application for
participation in the
cooperative does not
include fees for
membership in the
chamber. If your
membership is not
current the
application for
cooperative
participation will
not be processed.
The application fee
pays for the
administrative costs
of the energy
purchasing
cooperative and
selecting a licensed
energy supplier who
is offering to sell
the electricity or
natural gas at a
lower price than the
utility Standard
Offer Service Rate
offered by the local
utility company.
Application fees are
not refundable.
